WEME is exploring a number of ways of searching the corpus of witch text and the witchcraft database we are building. We hope to be expanding the variety of seaching mechanisms soon. Uszkalo worked with Amit Kumar to produce Searching Witches, a tool which allows users to key word search and proximity search a corpus of witchcraft texts; authorized users can follow links back to full texts found within Early English Books Online (permission to use the witch texts for this, and the rest of the WEME project and research was genrously provided by Aaron McCollough (TCP) and Peter White (EEBO).

Throwing Bones also supports full text searching of the texts associated with entries in the database. Typing a search string into the "search full text" section will generate a PDF of the page your entry appears on. A combined search of the same search string in the "search database" will show you the way the WEME team has classified that data.
