Indictment of Bridget wife of George Mayers of Holland seaman, 6 May 21 Chas.I, there "did enterteine, employ and feede" an evil spirit in the form " of a mowse" called Prickeares, &c.v Pleads not guilty; guilty; hanged. Witnesses: John Alderton, Samuel Ray, John Rowlinson, John Basslitt, Frances Throten, [blank] Freeman widow, Ellen Mayers, Bridget Hunt, Dorothy Waltas.
